The National Society of Black Engineers

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), with more than 29,900 members, is one of the largest student-governed organizations in the country. Because of the 394 College, Pre-College, and Technical Professional/Alumni chapters in the United States and abroad, NSBE has accomplished more for engineering students than any other organization in the world. All chapters are geographically divided into six regions with an executive board of professional officers at each chapter who are dedicated to the academic and professional success of engineering students. NSBE’s headquarters is located in Alexandria, VA however, because of executive leadership at each university; NSBE is able to offer its members leadership training, career placement services, professional development engagement and SEEK mentoring opportunities that positively impact the community.
