Annual Leadership Institute and Recruitment Fair
Since 2000, this national program has developed students’ leadership skills and provided companies access to a talented and diverse student body. After Talent Acquisition interview processes, organized by each ambassador and campus coordinator, selected students named “TMCF Scholars” attend a four-day conference with the occasion to learn from and exchange ideas with the world’s top leaders of business and government. [1] Successful mentors of industry, government opportunities and higher education invest in the lives of multiple attendees and further develop their talents; the concept of "your" brand, the secrets to developing professional and leadership skills as well as opportunities to change the world are annually revealed throughout the duration of the Leadership Institute and Recruitment Fair. Institute Highlights
Workshops
Mandatory professional and leadership development sessions provide a combination of concrete tools and valuable advice to help advance one's education and career. Students participate in interactive discussions and assignments designed to provide professional career strategies, skills, and guidance from experienced individuals in the corporate, education and government fields.
Networking Activities
Informal and formal networking is guaranteed throughout the conference. Individualized networking activities include a power marketing session, banquet events and receptions that provide students an opportunity to learn more about recruiting agencies that attend the annual leadership institute.
Keynote Addresses
Plenary and meal sessions feature keynote speeches by the nation's leading public speakers and corporate and government leaders. Keynote speakers inspire attendees by candidly sharing life stories, work experiences and tips on what it takes to survive in the real world.
Awards Gala
The annual Awards Gala themed “Developing Minds ... Delivering Dreams” celebrates the achievements of the country’s foremost visionaries who have had a positive impact on education and the lives of students attending public HBCUs.

Recruitment Fair
Students are invited to explore internship and career opportunities with over 60 recruiters. Corporate and government agencies from across the country are available to recruit conference participants for job placement, internships, fellowships, research positions and more.
