ACHAIA RAVIZEE
Ambassador Role
TMCF positioned me to serve as a positive, energetic, well-informed mentor and role model to the entire student population at Norfolk State University (NSU). In addition to promoting TMCF programs and services, I served the community-at-large and this job changed my life. During each semester I hosted meetings that prepared students for the real world and corporate America. Mock interviews, elevator speeches, resume reviewing, professional attire fashion shows and many additional actions trained every student to be the best. At each event and through social media handles I delivered news about current scholarship, internship, and career opportunities TMCF/corporate alliances offered. After yearlong preparation and trainings, the students’ foundation is tested when TMCF’s Talent Acquisition team visit public HBCUs and interview students to attend their Annual Leadership Institute and Recruitment Fair; NSU students were hired and gained internship opportunities from Wells Fargo enterprises, The Center for Disease Control & Prevention and Air Force Research National-Laboratories.
